Elementary Art, STEAM, & TAG Teacher

Hello! My name is Miss Emily Thomas and I teach Elementary Art, STEAM, and TAG. This is my second year at Mount Ayr Elementary School. I am very excited to see what this school year will bring!

I am originally from Indianola but live in Bedford now. I graduated from Northwest Missouri State University in 2022 with a degree in K-12 Art Education. Outside of school, I enjoy creating art, spending time with friends and family, traveling, and watching sports. I am an avid Iowa Hawkeye, Chicago Cubs, and Kansas City Chiefs fan!
