Elementary Art & STEAM Teacher

Hello! My name is Miss Emily Thomas and I teach K-6 Art and STEAM. This is my first year at Mount Ayr Elementary School. I am very excited to be a Raider and get to know each and every student in the building!

 

I am originally from Indianola, Iowa. I graduated from Northwest Missouri State University in 2022 with my degree in K-12 Art Education. Outside of school, I enjoy creating art, spending time with my friends and family, traveling, and watching sports. I am an avid Iowa Hawkeye, Chicago Cubs, and Kansas City Chiefs fan!
