Mrs. Shields

Welcome!!  My name is Mrs. Tara Shields and I teach sixth grade! I received my degree from Buena Vista University in 2017, but have enjoyed working in the Mount Ayr School District since 2011!! 

My husband, Andy, and I live on a farm south of Mt. Ayr with our two daughters, Taylor and Madison.  Camping, four-wheeling, gardening, and traveling are all things that we love to do together.  Traveling to Costa Rica each summer on a mission trip is one of our highlights of the year!
