Second Grade Teacher
Hello! My name is Jess Frost and I teach second grade. I am lucky enough to have been born and raised in Mount Ayr. I graduated from MACHS in 1997, then attended Southwestern Community College and Graceland University, graduating in 2001. I went on to receive my master's degree in 2011 from Graceland University in Differentiated Instruction.
My teaching career began in 2001 serving as a co-teacher in a third grade classroom. In 2002, I took a fifth grade position at Lamoni Elementary before achieving my lifelong dream in 2006 of teaching at Mount Ayr Elementary. I taught fifth grade here for 15 years, and am now beginning my third year of teaching second grade!
I am married to Justin Frost and we have two children, Sadie (25) and Dawson (22), and a cat named Tickles. Sadie is a nurse and Dawson is attending Iowa State University. We enjoy doing anything that involves spending time with our family and friends!
