Hello!

My name is Mrs. Cari Head and I am one of the special education teachers at Mount Ayr Elementary! I am starting my 2nd year of teaching. I graduated from Mount Ayr High School in 2003, and have furthered my education first through DMACC and then Western Governor's University for my teaching degree. Before getting my teaching degree, I was lucky enough to be an associate in special education, and learned so much from Mrs. Levine and Mrs. Adams! I currently work with students K-5 and thoroughly enjoy watching my students achieve their goals! 

 

I am the mother of 2 boys, Kasen and Rylan. They are in 6th and 4th grade this year! My husband David and I live with our family in the country outside of Mount Ayr and enjoy the slower pace. We enjoy spending our time outside and traveling to new places over the summers when the boys are finished with baseball!

 

I am so excited to welcome my students back into our classroom and experience another amazing year of growth and learning!
