Pre-School Teacher

Hello, Raiders! My name is Emily Schnoor and I am teaching pre-school here at Mount Ayr Elementary. I graduated in 2019 from the University of Northern Iowa with my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Literacy. I earned my Master's degree in Early Childhood Education in 2022 from Northwest Missouri State University.

 

I have taught five years in kindergarten and when I saw a pre-K opportunity in my new hometown, I had to jump at it. It's going to be a wonderful year seeing many familiar faces and meeting numerous new ones! 

 

My husband is Caleb Schnoor and we have an energetic chocolate lab, Moose, and happy baby boy, Stetson. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy time spent with family, being on the farm, reading lots of books, and cheering on the Cyclones, Packers, and Chiefs.
