Third Grade Teacher
Hello! My name is Jess Frost and I teach third grade. I am lucky enough to have been born and raised in Mount Ayr. I graduated from MACHS in 1997, then attended Southwestern Community College and Graceland University, graduating in 2001. I went on to receive my master's degree in 2011 from Graceland University in Differentiated Instruction.
My teaching career began in 2001 serving as a co-teacher in a third grade classroom. In 2002, I took a fifth grade position at Lamoni Elementary before achieving my lifelong dream in 2006 of teaching at Mount Ayr Elementary. I taught fifth grade here for 15 years, followed by three years teaching second grade, and am now beginning my first year of teaching third grade!
I am married to Justin Frost and we have two children, Sadie (26) and Dawson (23). Sadie is a nurse and Dawson is a senior at Iowa State University. We enjoy doing anything that involves traveling and spending time with our family and friends!
